Lost fairy tales

That summer wind she blew all day,

In a valley breeze far away.

She ain’t got no speech, she ain’t got no rhyme,

But she holds that sweet summer heart of mine.

Shes got that fairy tale flower,

But shes gone by the hour.

Shes that one we all lost along the way.

Shes that falling star,

That ain’t got no heart

Shes the one we all lost along the way.

That winter cold she froze my soul,

Lost to me, nowhere to go.

She ain’t got no speech, she ain’t got no rhyme,

But I ain’t never seen her freeze a heart like mine.

Shes got that heavenly grace,

But shes never there, a shadow not a face

Shes that one we all lost along the way.

Shes the ocean tide,

And she ain’t never lied

Shes that one we all lost along the way.

Oh shes that fairy tale, that never ends

And if you find her,

Your heart wont mend.

So hear me now.

This story don’t end,

Of that fairy tale

Of the one that got away.
